AUGUST 2025

This one wondrous Life we have been gifted

It is ours to Live

We do not need to go away to come home

Life is right here

Our breath in our bodies  - is a ceremony

The bee landing on heather - is a ceremony

The Water flowing out of the tap - is a ceremony

Receiving the bounty of food - is a ceremony

Feeling our feet on the Earth - is a ceremony

Here we are in a place of Power

Supported by Earth, Sun, Sky and Waves

We are so blessed to be alive

Sometimes we may expect …

We are Here

Even in times of trouble and unease

While we are Alive

We can sink our feet deep into the roots of the Earth

We can open our Hearts to Songs of the Universe

We can stretch out our Hands and touch Life

We are Here and we are Connected

As the Sun stands still in the Sky

pausing in powerful presence 

So we can find the time

to stop - sing - see

Know we can still celebrate Life

in all ways, possible and joyous

Here in the Harvest times, so much is given and on offer. Life is abundant and it is a wonderful time to glory in the gifts of nature.

But how do we see what we are offered? How easy is it to acknowledge it with an open heart? How much do we allow ourselves to receive what is given? Can we rejoice in the act of receiving, as a natural part of life? Can we allow ourselves to open more full to what is on offer now?

As we go through Life, it can be hard to keep up. So much is happening and it is not easy to take it all in and stay present. 

At this time of year - the beginning of the Harvest season - fruits ripen and offer themselves. This can also be true in life, and it is good to gather what has been given. This way we can more fully receive the goodness of what is already with us, and make sure it will sustain us for the future.
