HEALING EARTH 2022

From ancient times humans all over the world have worked together with Nature to receive healing, power, guidance and wisdom. During this online workshop, you will learn how to come into contact with Spirits of Nature and work together with the Earth for our mutual well-being and survival. Now it is more important than ever to re-learn and remember what it means to live well together.

We will explore what it means to be in deep relationship with the Earth, both in healing ceremonies and in everyday life. Walking with intention, attention and connection, our senses open and become more receptive to the intelligence of Nature – both inside us and around us.

The course offers writing exercises, outdoor work, animistic ceremonies and sacred song to learn more about the balance of giving and receiving, and how we can best use our gifts and bring Power to our voices.

We will work with the life-giving Four Elements to hear what they want us to be aware of at this time. The course will also help to strengthen and deepen relationships with local areas where you live, and find out what they need from you now and want to offer. You can do this work wherever you are, whether in a wild or urban area.

With this work we never assume what will help. We always ask and listen before we act. This way we are not working for the Earth from our human perspective, but seeking to be in partnership with the more-than-human voices.

An essential part of healing is learning to receive. As this is something that many people find difficult, we will explore it in depth, and examine how to engage with healing processes. It is helpful to recognize different types of healing work and expand our understanding of the transformations they can bring.

As we strengthen our connection and communication, we become ready to play our part in the world. By embracing the animistic awareness of the Living World, we begin to see beyond matter into the more invisible realms of spirit.

It is not only what actions we take that make a difference, but also the questions we ask and how we choose to respond to the answers. By communicating directly with the Earth, we learn more about ecological and spiritual healing systems and how Nature wants to work with us as a healing partner. Working together, we can build a sense of community and experience how it is to be an interconnected, natural part of the Earth.

** Please note that previous versions of this course required training in shamanic journeying. This time we offer it in a more animistic tradition, to make it open and accessible for anyone. No previous training is necessary.
