The Circle is one of the most potent forms in life. When we sit in Circle, we sit without beginning or end, without bottom or top. We sit in a way that goes all the way around and includes every place and position of the wheel.

Together with each other and with the Spirits, we will explore how the Power of the Circle can help us in everyday life, both personally and in different community situations. How can we bring the energy of the Circle into our jobs or other organisations to help them flow better? How can the Circle work as a peace-making practice, and offer inspiration for difficult situations?

The Circle is about living in a round way in all we do. We will ask the Spirits to teach us more about its nature and what they ask of us when we sit in this way. We will go into Nature to open to its wisdom about Circles and how to dance with cycles, seasons and the movement of change.

Working with Spirit Journeys, Rattles, Song and Nature, this course also includes small group work and larger Circle ceremonies. Together we will take time to share experiences, how to understand them and how to bring them home to our lives.

The Power of the Circle is always with us if we open to it and let it nourish us.

Special Opportunity: the course also offers a possibility to do a traditional ceremonial Sitting-Out at night (Utiseta) for those who wish.

** IMPORTANT:
Please
be aware that this course focuses on working with the Circle as community. All participants need to engage with the Circle while on the course and take an active part in small group work. Though there will be much opportunity for receiving personal teachings, this is not a course for those who mainly want to work with individual issues.

The course is taught in English, by Jonathan Horwitz & Zara Waldebäck

It is open to those with a similar training and practice to the SCSS
