This advanced online course is an opportunity to explore the power and role of Endings & Beginnings as we move out of 2022 and into 2023.
In the cycle of change, such stages are vitally important. They help us to complete one phase and prepare for a new one. When we end well, we take with us what we need and complete what needs to finish before moving on. When we begin well, we prepare the soil before planting and make space for what is to come, giving it good conditions to grow and root in. Working together with the Spirits, we learn more about these key times in life, both in everyday situations and larger birth and death cycles.
The course offers a variety of tools and ways of relating to stages of transformation, transitions and thresholds. We will explore how to honor and respect endings and beginnings, how good endings help us to live well, and how giving thanks for them can make a difference. We will find out what needs to end in our lives and what is waiting to begin. We will open to new seeds and ask how to welcome and embrace them, especially within the context of the new year.
Working in this way frees endings and beginnings to become strong and clean, releasing old energy and harvesting wisdom and healing. It helps thresholds and transitions to become ceremonial steps of power and empowers beginnings to come into being.
As part of the course, we invite those who wish, to hold a transformation ceremony at home, helped by the power of the Circle.
We also offer a special Winter Solstice Ceremony for you to do at home - in this time of stillness and change, we stand with the endings and beginnings of the year, and together step over the threshold.
In Circle, we will work with Rattles, Ceremony, Spirit meditations and Writing exercises. In between sessions you will be offered journey work to do at home, so you can learn directly from the Spirits and receive personal teachings.
Participants must have completed introductory training "The Shaman's Journey" or agreed equivalent. You must already have experience of shamanic journeying in a tradition similar to ours and have good contact with at least two Spirit Helpers.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:
This course is held as online interactive sessions, with Jonathan Horwitz & Zara Waldeback in English.
In between meetings, you have access to audio recordings and an online course space to help you deepen your practice at home. Here you can share experiences, ask questions and connect with other participants. You will also receive suggested work to do with the Spirits in between sessions. We highly recommend you do at least some of this, as it is here where you find deep personal teachings and the power to help you step through into the new year.
This course is open to people who have trained in shamanic journeying, either with us or in a way similar to ours. You must have a good connection to at least 2 Spirits in the way we teach.
** You are welcome to join the course even if you can’t come to all the meetings. However, we very much recommend you go through all the stages in the order they are offered, as together they create a ceremonial process through the cycle of change.

We will meet 4 times, every 2 weeks with a longer break over the Solstice:

The meetings are held on a Wednesday, 6-9pm CET Scandinavian time.
We will meet for 3 hrs, with a short break, via Zoom.
There will be an optional Winter Solstice Ceremony on 21 Dec, to take part in at home, in your own time. More information about this will be send in December.

Please note that we do not offer refunds on online courses, once you book it is binding.
TECHNICAL INFO:
You will need to connect to the Zoom meetings via a computer or tablet. If you have never taken part in an online circle, it is quite simple and you will get technical guidance to help you prepare. It is a different way of meeting but very powerful in its own way.
