RITUALS FOR LIFE
A good ritual is like an enchanted space, like a container for the power of the universe. A well-done ritual can nourish us, move us and change us, whether we are celebrating a wedding, blessing a new home, or gathering for a seasonal feast.
This weekend we explore how we ourselves can create new meaningful rituals for life’s smaller and greater thresholds. We will work both in the circle, with drumming, singing and storytelling, around the fire, as well as alone with nature’s spirits. To this we add inspiration and experience found in shamanic traditions and ceremonies, for example the classic rites of passage.
In our circle, we will experience how ritual form adds focus and power to the spiritual intent of the ritual – whether it is to heal, acknowledge, bless, transform, celebrate or let go of something important in our lives. The aim is that you return home with both magic and practical tools for finding authentic, powerful rituals yourself - rituals that suit your own spirituality and your own family and circle of friends and at the same time are firmly rooted in age-old traditions. The aim is also that you will find the confidence and courage to lead ceremonies for others
This course is open to all. The basic workshop or other shamanic experience is not required – but it helps.
